[There's about three big ones that, if moved, should give them enough space with some rearranging of the smaller ones. Roxas shoves one of the bigger ones to the edge, not sure if he's okay with lifting it.]
[ But Axel has no idea what he’s getting into. This one, when pushed, will be caught -- but largely with his chest rather than his arms, earning a small ‘oof’ of complaint before he walks it over to a corner and sets it down somewhere out of the way. ]
[ He's a lanky, gangly beanpole of a man, but Axel's surprisingly durable. Roxas should know that better than anyone. The concern is duly noted, though.
[ So after all that, Axel gets to climb back up the ladder and shuffle some smaller boxes around, stacking them along the walls in rows tall enough for only one of the two of them to reach. But, that’s likely a problem for later, if one at all.
Once they’re done, he dusts his hands, a brow perking as he looks around. ]
You think this is gonna be enough space?
[ It’s going to have to be -- Axel isn’t leaving until Roxas is ready for him to, so they’ll have to make do with what they’ve got. Good thing they’re close friends, rather than just acquaintances... ]
Nah. [ Axel shrugs helplessly, leaning his head over in a sort of knowing pose. ] I didn't come here planning to stay, you know.
[ He'd only intended to check up on his companion, really. But when it comes to matters of Roxas, it seems he's as apparently weak to things like 'I don't know if I'm okay' as he is to 'please stay with me'.
[ He shrugs, open-armed. He's here doing any and all of this of his own volition, for once; no orders, no demands, no commands. No one breathing down his neck if X thing doesn't get accomplished in Y amount of time.
But, sure -- if Roxas wants to exhaust other options first, fine by Axel. ]
Yet, Axel can't help but grin at that show of headstrong determination. It's somehow reassuring, perhaps to a degree, to know that no matter how hard he's taking this breakup, Roxas is still very much Roxas.
He follows suit. Hey -- any mattress they can magic up will probably be taller than Roxas, won't it? So he'll tag along to play pack mule. ]

One down, two to go, right?
[ Teamwork. ]

[He heard the "oof" and just wants to make sure. Even as he moves the second one to the edge.]
The other two are about the same.

He positions himself for the next box. ]
Ready when you are.

Okay, here comes the next one.

Ready.
[ Down it comes, landing a lot softer this time; the third continues the trend. ]
That all of it?

So, welp. The rest is history, as they say. ]
And if there's no second mattress?

[Or share. But that might be awkward.]
I-I'm sure we can work something out.

All the way back into town? [ There's a shake of his head. ] I'll sleep on boxes before making that kind of hike.
[ He's already pushing some into place as they speak. ]

Alright, then let's give it a shot.

I think there's extras where the rest of the workers sleep, so we can check there. Otherwise the owner will probably know.
[And he'll head out of the barn.]
